Springing Forward

Today is a gloomy day in Toronto, but it is also the first day that we all change our clocks FORWARD!
This is good news to me, because it means LONGER DAYS and SPRING! So thrilled!
I can feel that this spring/summer is going to be a good one. I will finally be done University and ready for a summer of adventure (still don't know what i'm doing 100% haha)
Started my morning with the usual, a BUCKET of green tea:

Note: My Buddah's cheek is shiney, because he is bushing (camera shy...)
STASH GREEN+BLACK TEA: Solution for coffee-less mornings (which are almost always occurring). I am an official tea ADDICT. For real. Ask anyone.
Heading out the pump some iron at the gym, and train for my upcoming 5k Diabetes race!

Contradicition to myself: Lil Wayne - 6 Foot 7 Foot

A contradiction to myself:
I am a WOMEN AND GENDER studies major at University, and believe in women's rights, but I also have a confession: I LOVE LIL' WAYNE. Purely for his music not for what his lyrics suggest.
Just wanted to get that out with ya'll.
Anyweezy (shout out to my girl Kailey @ Snack Face)
Check out the new Weezy video: 6 ft 7 ft!
Tell me what you think of the video/my contradicting life haha

Mammas PB+J Birthday Balls!

Morning Ladies and Gents!
Last night was my moms birthday dinner at Lago resto! I got her a few little gifts (spa package, audio-book of Dalai Lama's "The Art of Happiness"), and these suckers:

PB+J Energy Balls:
"Grind" into food processor:
3/4c Plain Oats
3/4 Sultana Raisins
"Chop" in processor
2 Tbsp Soy/Almond Milk (you decide!)
1 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
Vanilla Stevia (or plain stevia, any sweetner)
Blend all together until it forms a doughy substance.
Roll into balls and sprinkle left over oats! Add a garnish (Raisins, Mulberries-as shown-, or even add in a twist of Carob/Chocolate Chips!)
DONE! YUM! Let me know what you think...or how you altered the recipe to make it your own tasty twist!
